Casa Murilo actually began on a christmas day. Chris and Dan were in the amazon jungle over jul 2007 and found themselves on the top of a mountain suggested to Murilo by Chapada Diamantina. We played Waterloo sunset with some of Murilos mates we were staying with on the way down and couldn't have asked for better stemning. It was that trip that gave us the belief that we could try to write a few songs of our own. It's not your traditional Christmas story I guess but it's certainly one that had a huge impact on our lives and resulted in us moving to Norway.
