Grammy 2016: Vinnerne

Musikkbransjens mest prestisjefylte show gikk av stabelen i natt. På forhånd var en rekke stjerneartister er oppe til vurdering men Kendrick Lamar tronet høyest på listen over de nominerte med imponerende 11 nominasjoner. På delt andreplass er Taylor Swift (bildet) og The Weekend med respektable 7 nominasjoner hver.

Dette var den 58. gangen Grammyprisutdelingen ble arrangert og i løpet av natta og morgentimene norsk tid ble det delt ut priser i 83 forskjellige kategorier. I tillegg sto noen av verdens største stjerner på scenen - gå for all del ikke glipp av Lady Gagas massive hyllest til David Bowie som du kan se her.

Vi fulgte spent med, og allerede tidlig på natta var det klart at Taylor Swift hadde stukket av med prisen for årets beste album for 2014-utgivelsen 1989 - dette til tross for at Kendrick Lamar var en klar forhåndsfavoritt til nettopp denne prisen, også blant GAFFAs lesere. Lamar gikk likevel ikke tomhendt hjem da han faktisk fikk tatt med seg fem priser i kategoriene Best Rap Album (To Pimp A Butterfly), Best Rap Song (Alright), Best Rap Performance (Alright), Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (These Walls) og Best Music Video (for samarbeidet med Taylor Swift i videoen til låta Bad Blood).

Meghan Trainor stakk av med prisen i kategorien for årets nykommer foran blant andre James Bay og Courtney Barnett, mens Alabama Shakes vant hele tre priser i løpet av utdelingen, Best Rock Performance og Best Rock Song for låta Don't Wanna Fight - samt Best Alternative Album foran forhåndsfavoritter som Tame Impala, Björk og Wilco.

Den norske musikkprodusenten Morten Lindberg hadde på forhånd tre nominasjoner i kategorien for Best Surround Album, men nådde ikke opp. Også den norske forfatteren Jo Nesbø var nominert gjennom Patti Smiths lydbokinnspilling av boka Blod På Snø. Den stakk heller ikke av med noen priser i natt.
